We do this by continuing to develop and innovate. To realize this ambition, we are immediately looking for a commercial employee (company office) (m/f)!
What are you going to do.
In this new role you get a lot of freedom to adjust the position to your own liking. The business office department is currently being introduced on a structural basis, from which you will perform supporting activities for, among other things, the sales tasks. You will also represent the organization externally. You will also work together with your colleagues from the Finance, Legal and Operations departments to ensure that the order-to-cash process runs smoothly.
Tasks.
• First point of contact for customers (by phone/email).
• (Co) advise existing and potential customers about our products and solutions.
• Contribute to various sales and marketing activities, such as trade fairs and product presentations.
• Preparation and follow-up of offers.
• Supporting the sales team.
• Correcting any deviations.
• Ensuring adequate filing in our CRM system.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Contribute to strategic plans for the realization of commercial objectives.
In addition to the more commercial tasks, there are also general tasks at a company office such as handling the RMA procedure, answering the general telephone and guiding customers during company visits and/or product training meetings.
Who are you?.
• MBO work and thinking level.
• You have an affinity with modern technology.
• A flexible and customer-oriented attitude.
• You work independently, accurately and accurately.
• You are organized and you can keep an overview.
• Good command of the Dutch and English language.
• You are available 32-40 hours a week.
• Knowledge of and experience with Public Lighting (Smart Lighting) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of and experience in smart sensors/techniques is an advantage.
A day in the life of a COMMERCIAL EMPLOYEE.
• 08.00 – You start the day between 08.00 and 08.30 with a cup of coffee or tea.
• 09.00 – You take some serious phone calls from (potential) customers and you also know how to create opportunities. Then you put some new orders very accurately in our CRM system.
• 10.00 – You enter a meeting with the sales team and bring forward some ideas that you can also develop yourself. Then you work out some quotes and answer some emails.
• 11.30 – You work hard until the lunch break. You also carefully check the data that is in the system because you want everything that is in it to be correct.
• 12.30 – Lunch from Remoticom with your colleagues at the bar with a freshly boiled egg, good coffee and lots of fun.
• 13.00 – After lunch you have some appointments to tell existing customers about our products and solutions in the showroom before our Smart Lighting advisor also connects. You are seriously preparing for this.
• 14.30 – You provide some potential customers with brochures, quotations and also send some links to the website. Of course you also document all this in the correct way. You try to generate some sales before the end of the day by making some phone calls.
• 17.00 – You check whether you have ticked off your to do's for the day, tidy up your workplace for a while and go to Friday afternoon drinks a little later than your colleagues, but very satisfied.
