For almost 60 years we supply, install and maintain Oostendorp Netherlands quality and innovative (LED) solutions for sports field lighting. With the lighting systems they have, they can make both recreational and professional sports clubs more sustainable, achieve cost savings, use subsidies, provide insight into consumption, allow remote control of installations and light sports fields to the requirements of the sports associations.
In order to achieve optimum quality, they develop custom lighting plans. They assemble the product in-house and monitor consumption. They also make remote control possible. By using their talent, they ensure that the sports talent is put in the picture in the right way.

Together with Oostendorp we have formulated the following principles:

• Remote controlled and programmable.
• The product must be able to be rolled out internationally.
• Price/quality ratio had to be right.
• Coverage and network signal permeability through NB-IoT.
• An innovative solution to be distinctive in the market to remain a leader.
OUR APPROACH.
Oostendorp came to us for an innovative total solution for sports field lighting. They indicated that their current system needed further development with contemporary, innovative data communication. Remoticom then mapped and presented the NB-IoT possibilities from the customer requirements (URS). The feedback was used to start the design process (FRS) in which the client Oostendorp was closely involved. Each development step was discussed together, resulting in a successful FAT & SAT. Oostendorp developed its own application for the end-user, which was introduced under the name Ralph Control Systems for Sports Facilities.

Solution.
We have turned an existing solution into an intelligent application. In the case of Oostendorp this has become an intelligent, remote controlled, central control box. In addition, the LED driver box of the fixtures also uses new technologies from Remoticom for remote switching and dimming. Through a wireless control panel, the system can be easily operated. A total solution has been created by the corresponding application development of Oostendorp.
