Remoticom considers your privacy very important. We will therefore process and use your data in a secure manner, in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation. In these privacy terms, we explain to you what data we collect from you and why we do this. You can also read in these conditions what your rights are in relation to this processing. ARTICLE 1. Who is Remoticom?
Remoticom is a BV located at Kraaivenstraat 25-41, 5048 AB in Tilburg. Remoticom is registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 64892379. We are the controller of your personal data.
ARTICLE 2. What data does Remoticom use?
Here you can find an overview of the data we process from you, why we do this, what legal basis we have for being allowed to process this data from you and how long we will keep this data.
Remoticom processes your name, address, place of residence, telephone number, email and other data necessary to provide our services to you optimally to enable the performance of the agreement. You can think about your social media accounts and your website. We use this data to make you a satisfied customer for the duration of our agreement. We keep this data for one year after the end of our agreement.
To manage (possibly in the future) your order, we will keep your name, delivery address, billing address, e-mail, phone number, purchase history and payment details in our customer database for 7 years after our agreement. We do this by virtue of performance and possible amendment of the agreement, as well as for the purposes of the tax authorities.
For invoicing and financial administration, we process your name or that of your contact person, company name, billing address, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, customer number, email, bank details and outstanding balance. Without this data, we cannot process you payment. According to a legal obligation from the tax authorities, we have to keep this data for 7 years.
In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about our service, we will process your name, e-mail, phone number and the content of this complaint to be able to come to the best possible solution for you. Remoticom uses this data for the best possible performance of the agreement. We will delete data relating to complaints 1 year after settlement.
Remoticom has a commercial interest in using some of your personal data for marketing purposes. We process your name, email and social media account for direct marketing and social media marketing. We will delete this data once you unsubscribe from our newsletter or indicate that you no longer wish to be contacted by Remoticom.
To enable and optimise this website, Remoticom uses analytics and retargeting services. We have a commercial interest in using your browsing behaviour and related data to analyse and, where necessary, improve our service. We track the use of our website with Google Analytics and a Facebook Pixel and we are bound by the retention periods of Google and Facebook in doing so. These services use cookies.
Cookies are small pieces of information that are sent to your browser when you visit our website and are then stored on the hard disk or in the memory of the device you use to visit our website. These cookies will not damage your devices.
In addition, Facebook collects audience statistics through a first-party cookie. This data allows us to place more targeted ads. These cookies are active as long as the pixel is installed. However, the data collected by Facebook using this cookie is passed on to us anonymously.
When you want to contact us via the website, we ask for your full name and e-mail. By sending the contact form, this data becomes visible to us. We delete the data from a sent contact form as soon as the contact request is completed, unless this results in an agreement.
To enable posting reviews about our services, we process your full name, company name, photo and content of your review. With the posting of your message, this data becomes visible to Remoticom. We may post reviews about our services on our website out of commercial interest and will remove them when they are no longer representative of our business or if you request them.
ARTICLE 3. How do we get this data?
We have obtained the above data from you as a customer, contact person or website visitor, because you have provided these data to us. In addition, we may have obtained your data from one of our clients or people from our circle of acquaintances.
ARTICLE 4. What rights do you have in relation to this data?
The General Data Protection Regulation has given you a number of rights in relation to the personal data you have allowed Remoticom to process.
- Insight - You can request to see your data with us at any time.
- Modification - If you wish to have your data amended,
corrected, supplemented, blocked or deleted on the basis of inspection, you can submit a request to this effect. - Objection - You can object to the processing of your data.
- Data transfer - Should you wish to transfer your data to another provider,
we will provide you with your data in a structured and common form that
can be accessed by common digital systems. - Withdrawal - Where we have processed the data based on your explicit
consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. This may well affect
the services we can provide to you.
To exercise your rights, please send a request to marketing@remoticom.com. We will assess your request as soon as possible. If we cannot fulfil your request, we will let you know why we reject your request.
ARTICLE 5. Who receives your data?
Remoticom will not provide your data to third parties unless it is necessary for the conduct of our business or required from a legal obligation. Your data may be passed on to processors and parties involved in the performance of our agreement. Remoticom enters into processor agreements with these third parties to best protect your privacy. We do not resell your data to third parties.

We encourage you to check this privacy statement regularly as we may make changes to the policy.
