De zoogdieren zijn namelijk gevoelig voor blauw en ultraviolet licht. Op het moment dat er een fietser aankomt, wordt de verlichting aangepast zodat de fietser in een heldere lichtbubbel kan bewegen. De lampen voor de fietser worden aangeschakeld en zullen achter de fietser terug overgaan naar het diervriendelijke licht.
